Qoubbled is used by Ted Walker in a poem published in 1978 'Gardener' in the collection 'Burning the Ivy' Jonathan Cape (1978) p.23 to describe cooking fruit in a jam kettle. It could be seen as descriptive in the Wiltshire usage (although he was Sussex), but I thought it was a neologism created to be onomatopoeic, descriptive of the bubbling of jam in the pan
